Mr Preneur's Top 3 Books
#1 Rich Dad Poor Dad
When I tell you that this book completely changed my life, it is not an understatement. The moment I finished reading this book, I felt like blinders had been taken off of my eyes!
This book teaches you the basics of what is really possible in your life. I had been conditioned to believe that I was required to take the "traditional" route in life. Go to school, get the education, get a "good job", work all my life, then die.
It was not until I read this book that I realized much more was possible. This isn't a book just for entrepreneurs. This book should be taught in the public school system. I was not an avid reader until after I read this book. I then realized that there was a great deal that I did not know. It made me thirst for more knowledge, for true education.
#2 How to win friends and influence people
This book has gotten me out of paying bills! Let me say that again, I was late on payments before and the lessons in this book helped me avoid cancellations. There is a reason why this book is in the top list for most entrepreneurs.
The ability to communicate effectively with others will probably serve you better than any other skill set. You can accomplish almost anything if you can say the right things to others.
I could go on and on about this book but I would rather that you just pick up your own copy.
#3 The Slight Edge
I have recommended this book so much, I have been looking in my mailbox for a royalty check from Jeff Olson! This book is so powerful I own two hard copies and keep the audio book in my car!
The entire book breaks down how the little things you do on a daily basis determines where you end up in life. Is not going to the gym today going to kill you? Of course not. But what does skipping the gym over the next 5 years do to your health? When you break tasks down to a daily habit, it's amazing to see how powerful they can be. This is an absolute MUST read for anyone!
