Inspiration Is All Around Us

Lately I have been receiving a lot of questions from others about remaining positive.  Through adversity how do I keep moving?  With the continued obstacles of chasing your dreams, how do you remain focused.  My answer is very simple.  I surround myself around the right type of people.  I do not spend my days with people who are not moving forward.  I converse with people who are better than me in various aspects of life.  I read information that will build me up, not tear me down.  I don't watch crap on television that will encourage me to doubt myself.  

When is the last time you took an assessment of those around you? Feeling down about life?  Discouraged?  

Your network, environment, and the information you receive has a huge effect on where you go in life.  Think about it this way.  It's a hot summer day.  The temperature outside has reached a humid 101 degrees.  You are running from errand to meeting, dreaming of returning home to relax.  Finally the hour comes and you make your way home.  Beat with exhaustion from the heat, you draw up a cool bath.  After only a moment, you realize that you are no longer sweating, your body temperature has cooled down.  The environment you are in changed, and so did your state of mind.  It's just that simple.

We don't need to look high and low for methods of inspiration.  With information at our fingertips, it is not a lack of resources keeping us from reaching the next level of greatness.  It's the action.  You know how I stay inspired?  I work hard, I stay focused, I connect with like minded individuals, I read information that will build me up, I create.  When have this type of mindset, it is VERY difficult to get knocked off of your course.  Of course there will be times when you feel down, no one is immune from that.  But it will not be an easy task.  So if you want to be inspired:

  1. Focus on what is important to you.  
  2. Work towards it every day.  
  3. Surround yourself with the right people. 
  4. Put good information into your mind.
  5. Watch your attitude and life change.
